Theatre Zingaro has brought about a revolution in the way people look at theatre and its unique presentation has made it even more popular and now for the first time ever these incredibly amazing performers would be landing on Asian soil to deliver their first performance. After being acclaimed by the viewers world over the combination of men and horses would now perform in Hong Kong. The world famous group would be performing here for nearly 6 weeks and the people would be ready for some high quality entertainment during the Chinese New Year which is of great traditional value among the people in this part of the world.This enigmatic equestrian style of performance coming from the renowned French group is expected to bring in huge crowds at the event organized by the Hong Kong Arts Festival in collaboration with The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. The group is expected to spread its magic from the second week of February to the second last week of March as per the current schedule and this is surely a new concept for people who have not been exposed to the theatre environment like the one created in a Zingaro experience. Since it is a premiere for the event in Asia the Hong Kong government has also lent its support to the project and the Theatre Zingaro show is expected to please the Asian audience as well.
Also note worthy will be the fact that the Chinese festivals that are traditionally celebrated in Hong Kong also involve vibrant colors and an animal in form of a dragon but all that is man made however the people will be amazed to see the performance of live horses when they take on the stage for the first time in Asia. I had the privilege to witness your show last night in Hong Kong in front of an ecclectic audience you were able to amaze , excite , enthouse and above all make participate a crowd in ” the Gipsy Party ” which you created with so much humor and talent .
At no time did you fall in the trap of being patronizing or constraint . You took your public by the hand to a place where they had never been and did not know exist and by the show ended they were moved inside your family and understood that horses are part of the man and neither a tool nor a commodity but an extension of the human personality besides being the ambassadors for bridging cultures .
It was a truly great which lingers in ones mind and opens a window to another world .
